Sure our economy is hitting all time highs (intra-day market high of 5,000++ y’all!!!) but that doesn’t exactly mean that people are richer, unless you’re part of the elite 1% of course. (Note to self: Must watch that documentary, asap!haha) So unless your paycheck is as hefty as the rainmakers, paying the bills and having a decent amount of savings is hard as it is. So why bother spending your precious dime on fads that will go as soon as the next fashionista comes out with something new? I used to say that a grand can’t buy much anymore but today, I proved myself wrong. I stumbled on this find when I passed by Landmark in Makati. I badly need a new bag (I swear all those that I own are either extremely tortured or too tiny for all my stuff) and I refuse to buy another one from Charles and Keith (1. I'm not into any of their new designs, 2. The past two that I had ended up looking tattered after less than a year, and 3. I really can’t swallow spending another 2k on another bag that will only last for less than a year.)! So when I saw that shelf of bags (I'm, actually, coming back for the 700+ bag in camel. Soooo gorgeee!), I knew I had to get one, and I'm pretty darn confident about my pick. It’s a 3-in-1 black and leopard gorgeousness. You can use it as it is. There’s an extra strap to turn it into a sling bag. There’s another pouch inside that can turn into either a bag organizer or a separate sling bag. How awesome is that?
I did say that I wanna make 2012 the year that I buy my very first designer bag. But then I realized that at 25, I'm not really at that point yet when I can splurge. Right now, I choose to prioritize saving (more of redeeming myself from the mistakes of the past) rather than checking every single item on my shopping bucket list. It will come, eventually. But for now, I’d be more than happy to hunt for bargains and blog about it! ;)
